Roohly is an online matrimonial introduction platform operated by ROOHLY (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. The Company acts solely as a neutral technology intermediary providing a venue in which adult Muslim individuals seeking a spouse for lawful marriage may present themselves and consider others.
The Company is not a marriage bureau, matchmaking agent, rishta service, guardian (wali), religious authority, legal adviser, or counsellor, and does not act as the agent of any Member.
2. No Endorsement
The Company does not select, introduce, recommend, endorse, or vouch for any Member. Profile information is supplied by Members themselves. The Company does not independently establish the truth of that information, except to the limited extent described in the Verification Policy.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
The Company gives no assurance that any Member will receive a response, find a suitable match, become engaged, or marry. Subscription fees purchase access to features for a period; they do not purchase an outcome.
4. Verification Is Not a Background Check
A verification badge indicates that specified documents or data points were submitted and reviewed on a particular date. It is not a criminal-record check, character reference, medical clearance, or financial assessment, and it is not a guarantee of a Member's honesty, character, or safety.
5. Conduct of Members
The Company does not control, and cannot control, the conduct of its Members. Members interact with one another, and meet one another, at their own risk and upon their own judgement.
Where a Member uses the Platform for any purpose contrary to its stated purpose, that Member does so in breach of the Terms of Service and without the knowledge, authority, consent, or approval of the Company. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims liability for the acts and omissions of Members, whether occurring on the Platform or offline.
6. Not Religious or Legal Advice
Content published on the Platform is provided for general information only. It does not constitute religious (shar'i), legal, financial, or medical advice. Members should consult a qualified scholar or a qualified professional in relation to their own circumstances.
7. Availability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
