Roohly was founded on a straightforward conviction: that the search for a spouse deserves better than what it has been given.

Too many Muslim families searching for a rishta find themselves navigating a landscape of hearsay, exaggeration, and — too often — outright deception. Too many platforms blur the line between marriage and dating until the distinction disappears altogether. We believe there is room for something honest.

We are not a dating application, and we have not built one. Every design decision, every policy, and every feature on this Platform proceeds from a single assumption: that the person on the other side of the screen is looking for a spouse, and that their family will, in time, be part of the conversation.

What We Stand For

Truth. We build document-based verification into the heart of the Platform, because a proposal founded on a false claim is a wrong done to a family. We verify identity, education, employment, and marital status — and we tell you honestly what our verification does and does not establish.

Modesty. Photographs and conversation on Roohly are held to a standard of decency. Members control who may see their pictures. Anything immodest is removed, and the Member responsible is removed with it.

Family. We encourage the involvement of parents, guardians, and wali from the earliest stage. We regard that involvement as a strength, not an obstacle.

Safety. Reporting and blocking are one tap away, every report is read, and accounts that misuse this Platform are removed. We cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it.
